Régis Bismuth is Professor of Law at Sciences Po Law School (Paris). His main research and teaching interests lie in public international law, international economic, monetary and financial law, as well as international adjudication. He is also the author of several publications in these fields and, more specifically, on the extraterritoriality of law, economic sanctions, sovereign immunity, sovereign debt, State capitalism, WTO law, international investment law and arbitration, international standards, financial regulation, the responsibility of multinational corporations and the law of international organizations. He has also advised States, public institutions, corporations and NGOs on matters of international law.
