Matthias Bulach is a member of the Management Committee of CaixaBank since November 2016, as Head of Accounting, Management Control and Capital. His responsibilities also include Strategic and Financial Planning, Macroeconomic Research and Cost Management. He is also the person in charge of resolution activities of the group.
He is currently a member of the Board of Directors at CaixaBank Payments & Consumer and member of its Audit Committee. He is also a member of the Board of Directors at BuildingCenter, S.A. Formerly, he was member of the Supervisory Board at Erste Group Bank AG and member of its Audit Committee. As well as member of the Board of Directors at CaixaBank Asset Management SGIIC S.A. and President of its Audit Committee.
He was previously Corporate Manager of Planning and Capital at CaixaBank and prior to that, he was the head of the Office for Economic Analysis at ”la Caixa”. His previous roles include a tenure as Senior Associate at McKinsey & Company.
He holds a Master of Business Administration from the IESE Business School, a degree in Economic Science from the University of St. Gallen and CEMS Management Master from the Community of European Managements Schools.
