New Single Resolution Board Member Tuija Taos has started her mandate today, with responsibility for resolution planning and decisions.
Ms Taos is the former Director-General of the Finnish national resolution authority, the RVV, and also worked for the Finnish Ministry of Finance. She replaces Board Member Boštjan Jazbec, whose term has come to an end.
SRB Chair Dominique Laboureix said: “Tuija has been a longstanding member of the Single Resolution Mechanism family, and we are delighted to have the chance to benefit from her expertise and experience in financial regulation and resolution.”
He added: “I would also like to thank Boštjan for his excellent service and instrumental role over the past five years, notably in resolution planning and readiness.”
Ms Taos said: “After many years working at national level and with the SRB Plenary, I’m very happy to be starting as Board Member at the SRB, with the aim of promoting financial stability and protecting the taxpayers.”
